OROKS is a DJ and producer from the south of Costa Rica, whose sound is deeply inspired by nature and the vibrant musical scene of his region. His project blends organic and technological elements, creating a sonic experience that balances the natural with the contemporary. Specialized in groove-driven house and techno, he explores their different variants with a versatile approach that also leads into deep house, progressive, and afro-influenced sounds. His performances are known for their high energy, strong dancefloor connection, and precise crowd reading, allowing him to adapt seamlessly to different environments while maintaining a clear artistic identity. Constant experimentation and a continuous search for innovation define both his live sets and production process. Within the Costa Rican electronic music scene, OROKS has built a solid presence by performing at well-known clubs such as Mambo Club, Avalon, Club Ibiza, Crazy Monkey Tamarindo, Galleta De Mar and Palio, as well as key regional venues including Selva Armonía, Hotel Samsara, Ballena Vibes, and Whale Tail. Internationally it has been presented in: Aqua Lounge, Bocas Del Toro, UD Cancún, SantoSanto República Dominicana And La puerta Rosa Santo Domingo. He is also a resident artist of Tropic Productions, further strengthening his regional influence. He has been part of emerging festivals such as Kapok Fest, where in 2026 he will curate and lead the Plurifica Stage, as well as Bliss Burn and Rambuú Fest, where he performed as a headliner. On an international level, OROKS has released music through three European labels, bringing his sound to a global audience. He has performed in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Panama, and is currently preparing his second international tour, with several stops across Latin America. He has collaborated with collectives such as Tropic Productions, Nomads, Osa Rave, and Bipolar Soundsets, and his work has been featured on radio platforms including World Radio 103.1 FM (Costa Rica) and Music As Medicine Radio (France). In addition, he is the founder of Plurifica, a collective based in Uvita focused on creating opportunities for emerging artists. In 2026, Plurifica will host its own stage at Kapok Fest, solidifying a platform that brings together international acts and new local talent.
